The Agafay desert camp sits on the volcanic plateau between Marrakech and the High Atlas, a landscape that feels genuinely remote despite being closer to the medina than most riads. You arrive in late afternoon, settle into your Berber tent—canvas and comfortable, with proper bedding and heating—and then head out on camel back as the sun begins its descent.
